This popular sailing yacht combines the quality and reliability of the French shipyard Jeanneau with the elegant design by Jacques Fauroux. Compact yet surprisingly spacious, with the sailing characteristics the Sun Odyssey series is known for: stable, agile, and comfortable – ideal for both first-time sailors and experienced yachtsmen looking for a manageable and reliable vessel.

Rigging & sails – fully renewed
In 2022, the complete rigging was renewed, making this yacht stand out in her class.
The new aluminium mast and boom provide strength and safety. Both the standing rigging (steel wire) and the running rigging have been fully replaced. The set includes a new mainsail and genoa (Jeckells, 2022, Dacron) with a Furlex furling system. This means the “Cloudy Bay 2” not only looks fresh and modern, but is also ready for many years of carefree sailing enjoyment.
Comfort & interior
Inside, the Sun Odyssey 29.2 offers a surprisingly spacious and bright interior with a headroom of 1.75 m. The boat features four fixed berths (forward and aft cabin) plus two additional berths in the saloon, making her ideal for couples or small families.
The saloon offers a cosy dining area, modern upholstery, and plenty of storage space. The galley is practically laid out with a 2-burner gas stove, sink with pressurised water system, and an electric refrigerator. In addition, there is a manual toilet, and the yacht is equipped with a pressurised water system and a 50-litre water tank.
Navigation & electronics
Fully equipped with modern navigation electronics from Raymarine, including an Axiom chart plotter, autopilot, GPS, log, depth sounder, and wind meter. In addition, the yacht is fitted with AIS (Em-Trak) and a VHF radio (Standard Horizon). Navigation lights are upgraded to energy-efficient LED lighting.
Exterior & deck equipment
The spacious cockpit features wheel steering, a sprayhood, and a swim platform with boarding ladder – ideal for anchoring and leisure use.
On deck, you will also find a CQR anchor with chain and line, a manual anchor winch, and all standard safety equipment including a lifebuoy, life raft, EPIRB, fire extinguishers, and both manual and electric bilge pumps.
